F. Scott Fitzgerald Online

Zoom only.

Liberal Arts With Prof. William Thierfelder

F. Scott Fitzgerald is best known for his four completed novels depicting the flashiness and excess of the Jazz Age, a term he popularized in his short story collection “Tales of the Jazz Age.” In his brief 44 years, he not only produced four novels, but four story collections, and a total of 164 short stories published in some the leading magazines of the day. Although he achieved popular success and fortune in the 1920s, Fitzgerald didn’t receive full critical acclaim until after his death in 1940. He is now regarded as one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century.
