Courtyard Concert: Homegrown String Band In-Person
With a repertoire of traditional and original music inspired by the sounds of rural American folk music, this “family that plays together” has been delighting festival & concert audiences around the country since 1997. All the songs the band presents have stood the test of time by not only surviving but thriving and flourishing for hundreds of years via the folk process and oral tradition. Using an eclectic palette of instruments, including guitar, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, baritone ukulele and harmonica, and jaw-harp, the trio adds their own musical DNA to an American tradition.
