Sacagawea

Sacagawea Online

A lifelong learning presentation with William Thierfelder

Sacagawea was a Lemhi Shoshone woman who, in her teens, was instrumental in helping the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Sacagawea traveled with the expedition thousands of miles from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean and helped to establish cultural contacts with Native American people as well as gain knowledge of the natural history in different regions. This program focuses on highlights from her life’s amazing journey.

Zoom-only presentation.
