Monet and Venice In-Person
An Art Talk With Prof. Thomas Germano
Claude Monet once claimed that Venice was “too beautiful to be painted.” But he embraced the challenge by creating an extraordinary sequence of works depicting la Serenissima. This talk will look at the work being shown at the Brooklyn Museum’s exhibition “Monet and Venice” (October 11-February 1).
